Photoshop Magic. A More Magical Staff.
A friend took photos pf her daughter in cosplay. The staff in the photo had batteries and would light up on its own, but in this photo it wasn't turned on. This happened to be my friend's favorite photo that day and asked me to edit the image so the staff appeared to be lit up like it was in other photos.

Custom Recolor Request. Vintage Family Photo.
My friend's mother wanted an image to match her new sofa. She also loved this historic photo of their ancestors. I took the photo , cleaned the scanned image up, and manipulated it so the barn matches the color of the new sofa. My friend's idea for this present went over with positive reviews when her mother got it printed out and now hangs over the sofa.

Photographic Cosplay. BRAINS!
Using Photoshop and a photo a friend took of her son in his zombie hunter costume, I increased the size of the photo by artificially enlarging the surrounding background foliage, road, and ground cover. This provided room for the zombies in the scene. I also enhanced the photo to bring out the fall colors and create a feeling similar to the style of some popular zombie television shows. Zombies were added to the scene, and lighting and shadows manipulated to reflect those in the original photo.

School Dance Redo. "We're All Mad Here."
With Photoshop I took my friend's daughter's high school dance photo (It had a red bordello-ish background. Yikes! It's also here for your viewing pleasure), and gave it a much more "Alice in Wonderland" feeling that worked with their outfits. The wooded background image was originally taken by another friend and used with permission.

Photo Repair. Loving Nurses Throwback.
Repair of a scanned image of a photograph from a friend's nursing collage graduation in the 1970's. It had been badly damaged over time. I used Photoshop to repair the image

Story Imagery. A Fairy Tale Competition.
I used Photoshop and SketchUp to create compositions to compliment a submission for a writing competition. My friend was the author. I was the designer. The tale was a dystopian-type short story about rebellion in an invasively monitored society.
